Competitive elements added for increasingly competitive Youth matches include the addition of a competition model for play. Field size, match-length, and the number of players per team will also increase as age groups go up. Tweed Coast enter teams in both the mixed and girls competition.

Tweed Coast Tigers are committed to being a genuine community club which understands that despite the competitive environment of Youth football, every player belongs at our community footy club. Age groups will all play together with an age group head coach who supports all players to contribute and feel connected to their entire group. Teams will be placed in divisions so all players can play at their level will allows them to engage fully with AFL.
