Tweed Coast Tigers AFL Club is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board (referred to in the Constitution as “the Committee”) has the role of managing the club in accordance with its Constitution, the Incorporation Association Act 2009 (NSW), and other laws. It is responsible for, and has the authority to determine, all matters relating to the strategic direction, policies, practices, management, and financial oversight of the Club. It is required to do all things that may be necessary to be done in order to carry out the objectives of the TCT AFL Club.
The Board’s role and processes are set out in the Board Policy Manual. The Board Policy Manual is the Club’s corporate governance policy that defines:
- Governance roles of the TCT AFL Club; and
- Key Directors’ roles and responsibilities.
