Where Footy Begins
Superkick is a great way for kids to gain confidence while developing footy and match play skills, while Auskick is more about learning AFL fundamental skills through game-based activities.
NAB AFL Auskick is Australia’s premier introductory football program for children aged 5–8, focusing on fun, safety, and fundamental skill development through weekly non-contact, game-based sessions. It provides an inclusive environment for all abilities.
Auskick is a once-a-week commitment, with no games until they are 7-8 years old, and they may choose to move to Junior footy in the U/9.5s competition.
Superkick is a similar commitment with no games for those kids 9-12 who are getting into footy but not wanting a formal game environment.
Tweed Coast offers a mixed Auskick/Superkick program in Term 1 of every school year. Fridays starting from March 6 2026, 4:00-5:00pm at Pottsville Oval
